Shelley Susman
Shelley Susman is Surf & Turf's new Junior Team Tennis Coordinator and Ladies League Coordinator. Shelley grew up in La Jolla, following both parents who were top national tennis players. She was a Number 1 ranked junior locally, and won the CIF singles title as well as being ranked one of the top juniors in Southern California. She then played for San Diego State University, where her team was ranked 4th in NCAA Division I.
She recently won the National USPTA Star Award for "indelible contributions to tennis" for her grassroots endeavors, primarily for her newly formed non-profit organization Tennis 4 Anyone, which is based in public parks. Shelley chairs the Community Tennis Development Committee for the San Diego District Tennis Association.
Shelley is eager to work with people of all ages and levels.
